The acquisition marks several milestones for Linden: its first closing in Winchester after eight years of pursuing opportunities in the market, its second acquisition of 2026, and the addition of its 19th asset, bringing the firm’s portfolio to over 3,000 units across the Mid-Atlantic.

Located at 221 Peppertree Lane, Peppertree Apartments sits near the interchange of Interstate 81 and Interstate 66, giving residents direct connectivity to Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C. The acquisition closed on September 24th.

Peppertree Apartments to Be Managed by Gates Hudson

Peppertree Apartments will be managed by Gates Hudson, a Fairfax, Virginia-based real estate management firm whose regional team currently oversees Linden’s other I-81 corridor communities. The shared regional team is expected to support a smooth ownership transition and consistent operations across Linden’s I-81 corridor portfolio.
