The Partnership

Within six months, DXC engineers and industry experts integrated 12 different systems at Allianz PNB Life, transforming and modernizing the insurer's operations with a secure, cloud-based solution.

"This six-month project set an internal record at Allianz PNB Life for a core system implementation that was both on time and on budget," said Teh Kim Leng, Regional Chief Operating Officer, Allianz Asia Pacific. "We are already experiencing increased service levels and customers are receiving policy contracts within minutes, instead of days. While speed is important, we are also committed to ensuring our customers' data is safe and secure, and DXC is our trusted partner in doing just that."

The Technology Solution

With the goal of reducing costs and providing Allianz PNB Life employees with streamlined and simplified digital processes, the DXC team implemented Assure Integral, a comprehensive, cloud-native life and health insurance policy management software solution into Allianz's digital infrastructure. Built on DXC Assure Cloud, powered by Amazon Web Services (AWS), Assure Integral is enabling Allianz to accelerate the launch of new products, issue new policies faster and create an improved digital customer experience.

The insurance industry relies heavily on data for risk assessment, setting premiums, and processing claims. DXC's Assure platform provides a framework with comprehensive data management and security measures that meet Allianz's standards.

"With over one billion policies on our platform, and 10% of the world's premiums processed on our systems, DXC today serves 21 out of 25 of the world's leading insurance companies. As the largest provider of core insurance systems, we are dedicated to meeting our insurance customers wherever they are on their digital transformation journeys," said Ray August, managing director, Insurance Software & BPS, DXC Technology. "Our partnership with Allianz demonstrates how working alongside the right partner can produce meaningful results."

"About a quarter of DXC's IT budgets in Asia Pacific (APAC) are dedicated to new system implementations, and APAC insurers cite IT cost reduction, competitive advantage, cybersecurity and data protection as important to growth in 2025," said Max Ang of Celent, a leading research and advisory firm focused on technology for financial institutions. "DXC Assure Integral is one of the cloud-native core systems we are highlighting to APAC insurers for consideration."
