UMEÅ, Sept. 02, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Kekkilä-BVB and Arevo have announced a partnership to bring Arevo's patented Arginex crop nutrition technology to consumer and retail garden products across the Nordic and Baltic countries. Arginex will be integrated into Kekkilä-BVB's consumer brands: Algomin, Hasselfors Garden and Kekkilä Garden.

The agreement follows a technical evaluation assessing agronomic performance, formulation stability, and compatibility with Kekkilä-BVB's existing consumer product lines. The assessment confirmed that Arginex can be built into retail products without disrupting established manufacturing and packaging processes.

Arginex is based on a patented arginine-phosphate formulation. Arginine is an organic nitrogen source that plants absorb preferentially. Combined with phosphate, it forms a stable compound designed to stay available in the root zone over time. The result is a plant-first alternative to standard mineral fertilisers - one that supports root growth and nutrient use efficiency from the start, while working with soil biology rather than against it.
