Consyst bags order to build state renewable energy data centre at Kerala State Electricity Board headquarters.
Kochi, June 22, 2020 – Kerala State Electricity Board Ltd has selected CONSYST, the leading Industry 4.0 Automation System Integration company based out of Kochi to build the State Renewable Energy Data Centre at Vaidyuti Bhavan, Thiruvananthapuram. The assignment includes Design, Engineering, Supply and Commissioning of IT Equipment and Software Solutions to collect real-time data from various MW and kW Solar Power Plants distributed across the state. The system once commissioned, will help KSEB to evaluate and analyse the performance of renewable energy generation inside the state more precisely in real-time and manage grid operations better.

This project is a perfect example of how well we execute our mission. India has set itself a target of 175 gigawatt (GW) Renewable Energy capacity by 2022, of which 100 GW is from solar power. The state of Kerala does not have a lot of empty, spare lands to build large solar power plants and is relying on rooftop installations to contribute to the target set by MNRE. KSEB is promoting its 'Soura' scheme where numerous grid-tied kW plants are supposed to generate power. This project will use state-of-the-art technologies like RTUs, Cloud Computing and IIoT to connect kW and MW solar PV plants and deliver business value to our esteemed customer, KSEB and help achieve its ambitious green energy goals.”
